Psychiatric care, start to follow-up

Every course of care begins with a full evaluation. What follows is shaped by what that evaluation finds and by what matters to you.

Comprehensive psychiatric evaluation

A comprehensive psychiatric evaluation allows us to understand your current symptoms, psychiatric and medical history, medications, lifestyle, and treatment goals.

Following your evaluation, we will discuss our clinical findings and develop an individualized treatment plan when appropriate. Initial evaluations are typically longer than follow-up appointments.

Diagnosis and treatment

Where an evaluation supports a diagnosis, we explain what we have found in plain terms and discuss the treatment options available to you. You are part of that conversation, not an audience to it.

Medication management

Psychiatric medications can be an important part of treatment for many mental health conditions. Medication-management appointments include evaluation of treatment response, potential side effects, medication adherence, and ongoing treatment needs.

Medication decisions are individualized and made collaboratively with each patient.

Supportive and brief therapeutic interventions

When clinically appropriate, supportive and brief therapeutic interventions are provided as part of your psychiatric care.

Solid Rock Behavioral Health does not offer standalone psychotherapy at this time. If ongoing therapy would be helpful as part of your treatment, we can discuss referral options with you.

Follow-up psychiatric care

Regular follow-up appointments allow us to monitor symptoms, assess progress, review medications, and make appropriate adjustments to the treatment plan.

Conditions we treat

We evaluate and manage a range of psychiatric conditions. This is not a complete list — if your concern isn't here, please call the office.

Depression Anxiety disorders Bipolar disorder ADHD PTSD & trauma-related conditions Insomnia & sleep-related concerns Psychotic disorders

Treatment recommendations are determined following an individual clinical assessment. This website does not provide diagnosis, and nothing here should be used to determine whether you or someone else has a particular condition.
