You'll be asked to complete new-patient forms covering your medical and psychiatric history, current medications, allergies, previous treatment, and preferred pharmacy.
Your provider will discuss your concerns, symptoms, history, and what you're hoping to get from treatment. There is time for this conversation.
When clinically appropriate, you and your provider develop an individualized treatment plan together — through shared decision-making, not instruction.
Will I be prescribed medication that day? Not automatically. Treatment recommendations follow your individual clinical evaluation, and may include medication when it's clinically appropriate.
